Design and construction of an oak made desk. Our concept while designing it, was the handling of the most difficult piece of wood to be used, that means its end grains. We used the end grains' particularity to form a pattern out of rectangles running perimetrically the desk. Three drawers carring hidden push mechanism are fitted in, to avoid fixing handles preventing the motive flow. The whole piece is based on plain, pure geometrical shapes. The whole construction is varnished in matte acrylics (non yellowing).
