Desk construction made of solid and lined MDF with oak. The main design target was to match aesthetic harmony with usability of the object. For the main construction of the desk, oak veneers have been selected and "paired ", so that the water of the wood is not interrupted. The furniture has two drawers made of birch plywood, with MDF drawer front lined with oak veneer, knobs made of the same solid wood opening with hidden soft close mechanisms. The two drawers have been supported with solid crossbars for futher furniture stability . The desk is mounted on solid legs, which follow Scandinavian design lines. Additionally, acrylic glazes (non yellowing) were used for the finish.
