Design and construction of a tool bag for Barista & Bartenders. In other words, it is a bag for carrying and presenting professional equipment. An idea borrowed out of our brand "ORPHANS'1618" - wooden handmade bags. Therefore, this bag is an experimentation of combining wood with leather. The leather layer which is the structural element of the bag, takes ,in fact, its shape and form by means of pieces of wood attached. The wooden parts of the bag are plywood lined with kingwood veneer and laser-cut after being engraved with a decorative pattern and our brand logo. The leather part has been hand stitched with different leather binding methods providing proper little straps to hold together the various utensils. The wooden parts of the bag have been finished and sealed with wood-specific silicone wax. Additionally, we have designed two professional tools, a muddler and a tamper. These tools have been made by laminating different types of wood, mainly of exotic origin, and given their shape applying the turning technique.
