A custom construction assigned to us by Small Studio. While the menu looks so simple, it yields several specific traits. The structure of the menu is applied on a plywood panel lined with walnut veneer, but its special feature was created by laminating two different pieces, and this is because an internal groove had to be created in their edges so that a decorative strip of special flexible plexiglass could be fitted. The plexiglass chosen is golden which contrasts with the deep colour of the walnut adding to it elegance. The whole concept derives from the retro tables that usually had a plastic striped band on the edge of the surface. One more point that characterises it is the metallic gold-coloured binder mechanism blending with the plexiglass. The above mechanisms were specially made to order.
